Kate Lake Biography

Kate is a member of Blackham Country Players (BCP) and Penshurst Amateur Dramatic Society (PADS)
Her very first time on stage was at school around the age of 15 when she performed in various Gilbert and Sullivan operas alongside her now husband and fellow PADS and BCP member Richard. Kate’s very first panto appearance was when she was 17 during her career in the Navy, she played the lead female principle part of Princess Lotus Blossom in Sinbad the Failure.
Kate’s favourite comedian was Victoria Wood and to date she has performed two of her sketches:- The famous Shoeshop sketch (Skits & Sketches May 2017) which Kate also directed as well as her solo performance of the infamous Hayley Bailey in the step aerobics sketch
Kate has starred in various plays and Pantomimes including Juliet in 15 minute Romeo and Juliet,  Trish in Fete Worse than Death, Kelly Vines in House amongst the Willows and Jill in The Great Panto Robbery.
